Kelpi kicks off 2024 with 3 new team members

Kelpi have had a busy but exciting start to 2024, with three new members joining the team, further improving our internal capability. The increased diversity of knowledge, skill and experience will enable the next stage of growth for Kelpi, as we continue to focus on our client relationships and the scale up in the production of Kelpi’s high water-barrier coatings.

First to join us in the new year was Shreeya Rayani, an experienced Process Engineer, who will play a key part in the industrialisation strategy to achieve the scale up of Kelpi’s production. Shreeya’s focus will be leading on various projects on new research and the development of new processes.

Second to join us was Lou Hart-Spalding, who has spent the last 18 years in the beauty and cosmetics industry working cross functionally in trends and category analysis, customer service, new product development and packaging innovation. As a Commercial Account Manager, Lou will be responsible for managing the implementation of commercial partnerships, building on our existing relationships, and identifying new business opportunities with other FMCG and Retail businesses.

Finally, we welcomed our new Product Manager, Jonny Needham. Jonny brings with him a wealth of experience, with a background in Chemistry and technical development. His skills span from new product development and lifecycle management to intellectual property portfolio management and quality and compliance.

The team at Kelpi are extremely excited to welcome our new team members and look forward to seeing the amazing contributions they will make to tackling plastic pollution.
