Kelpi is now B Corp certified

Another giant leap forwards to announce today - Kelpi is now certified as a B Corp. We’ve joined the more than 1,500 UK companies with that status - redefining the role of business as a force for good.

From Day One, Kelpi was built around a commitment to the triple bottom line, measuring our success through the three Ps of People and Planet as well as Profit, considering positive social and environmental impacts to be at least as important as financial returns.

Now, with the status of a B Corp, we’re part of a movement to use business as a force for good for people and the planet - from the bio-materials we produce to the way we work with staff, clients and stakeholders.  

Over the last nine months Kelpi has undergone a rigorous assessment of the business by B Lab, who administers B Corp certification.

Kelpi CEO Neil Morris said: “This is a great day for Kelpi. We’re immensely proud of having achieved B Corp status – gaining this independent recognition of our commitment to maintaining the highest environmental and social standards. We’ve always seen Kelpi’s purpose as being a force for good – a part of an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy for all people and our planet.”
